New Delhi: Carlos Valdez and his wife – who lives in Roy city, USA – collected $12000 USD to pay tip to their favourite 89-Year-Old Pizza Deliveryman. Valdez and his wife always requested pizza point to send pizza with 89-year-old Derlin Newey.
Carlos and his family loved the way Derlin Newey was delivering pizza to them. According to Carlos, he fell in love with the senior citizen’s positive attitude and his cheerful catchphrase, “Hello, are you looking for some pizza?”

People loved Newey’s charisma, a lot their feedback expressed concern that an elderly man was still spending so many hours on the job.
“I had decided to reach out to my fans in hopes of raising a little money to help Newey and from the followers, I received around $12,000 USD for Newey,” Carlos told the media.
Last Tuesday, Valdez reached Newey’s home to give him a surprise and Valdez was with a check for $12,069 and pizza. “How do I ever say thank you? I don’t know what to say,” Newey told the media.
“I was thrilled to be able to give something back to a man who’d delivered so much joy to those around him just by being him-self. This couldn’t have gone any better,” Valdez said.
“He needed this. I’m just glad we could help him. We just need to treat people with kindness and respect the way he does. He stole our hearts.” Valdez added.
