MTV Roadies launches Season 18 Trailer
Mumbai: Makers dropped the first trailer of the new season of a popular upcoming reality television programme, Roadies, on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Titled MTV Roadies: Journey in South Africa, season 18 will feature Bollywood actor Sonu Sood as the new host.
The trailer begins with Sonu Sood kickstarting the adventurous season in South Africa. The youth show includes previous contestants, including Kevin Almasifar, Baseer Ali, Aarushi Dutta, Muskan Jattana, Ashish Bhatia, Yukti Arora, and Kavya Khurana, among others.
The youth channel took to Instagram and shared the trailer with the caption, “The journey is about to begin. This new season of Roadies is set to be a blockbuster! We have Sonu Sood with us.”
Contestants will challenge each other through various sports and activities like mountain trekking, bungee jumping, canoeing, scuba diving, zip-lining, sandboarding, snowboarding, etc. Season 18 is designed to include height-based and water-based tasks.
The surprising season is expected to be replete with twists and turns as contestants will be mentored and guided by Sood in a fun-filled yet challenging journey throughout the show.
The show will witness old faces from previous seasons. Talking about being a part of the show again, Baseer Ali said, “Embarking on an all-new adventurous expedition with Sonu Sood sir has been no less than an honour.”
Co-powered by Coinswitch, Paree Sanitary Napkins, Leverage Edu, and Lakme India, Roadies season 18 will premiere on April 08, 2022. The show will air between Friday and Sunday at 7 PM on MTV India.
