Vikram Prabhu as a rebellious Police Officer in Taanakkaran trailer
Mumbai: The makers released the trailer of the most anticipated South Indian film, Taanakkaran, on Thursday, March 31, 2022. The trailer features actor Vikram Prabhu in a rebellious Police Officer avatar. Inspired by true events, Taanakkaram will release on Disney + Hotstar on April 08, 2022.
The trailer features Vikram as one of the Police trainees who undergo rigorous training at a Police Academy. The trailer showcases seniors exploiting trainees at the academy. Unsettled by the events, Prabhu raises his voice against the malpractices and atrocities occurring within the training premises.
The Tamil feature deals with the hardships of young trainees at the behest of their seniors. Vikram plays the character of an aggressive trainee that questions the authority of the ruthless senior officers. The film will also release in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Produced by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabhu, P Gobinath, and Thanga Prabaharan under Potential Studios, cinematography by Madhesh Manickam, and edited by Philomin Raj, the action-thriller stars Anjali Nair, Lal, MS Bhaskar, and Madhusudhan Rao in supporting roles.
