Gmail Down: Google’s email client down globally, G-suite services also face connectivity issues

Surat: Today on twitter trending #1, a growing number of users are reporting that Google’s email client, Gmail, is not letting them send mail ‘email’ or ‘attach files’. ‘Down Detector’ shows that the problem is not just for people in India, but also in Australia, Japan, and other parts of the world.
According to reports available, user tried to send an email with attachment and Gmail showed an error. It has been over an hour that people across the world are facing this issue.
Moreover, users are also complaining about issues connecting to some of the G suite services like Google Drive, Google Doc. But most users are facing issues with Gmail.
Although, reports also noted that Google Drive was too unable to share files or upload and download them. “Google and their engineering team are investigating the issue,” said sources. Google has also confirmed the outage on its status page.

Meanwhile, commenting on the issue, Google noted, “We’re investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly.”
Users have taken to Twitter and Down Detector website to talk about the issues and highlight the problems they are facing with Google’s services, especially Gmail.
Most users complain that they are unable to send mails or attach any sorts of files to the emails.
This is the second time in two months that widespread issues with Gmail have been reported. In July, users reported not being able to log into their Gmail accounts. Gmail noted the issue and fixed it, but never issued an explanation as to why the problem occurred then.
