New Delhi: A three-year-old child in Chicago playing with Gun accidentally killed his mother. City police on Monday said that “The young boy was sitting in the child seat in the back of a car with his parents in the front. without anyone knowing how he managed to get his hands on the father’s pistol. The child began playing with it inside the car. At some point, Child pulled the trigger.”
An a-22-year-old mother Daejah Bannett was shot in the back of the neck. she was rushed to Chicago hospital where she was pronounced dead. The father was taken into custody while police investigated whether he possessed the gun legally or whether he should be facing charges.
The social working group in the US has said that thousands of American children gain access to use guns, and they use them in a wrong manner many times. The organization that campaigns for better supervision of firearms and in particular for requirements that they are stored securely.
The organization further said that around 350 people in the US, lost their lives due to unintentional firing by minors.
