The Kapoor family met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to commemorate the centenary of Raj Kapoor, born on December 14, 1924, in Peshawar. The every young, Neetu Kapoor expressed her gratitude on Instagram, thanking PM Modi for his warmth and support in honoring the legacy of the legendary actor.
To celebrate 100 years of Raj Kapoor’s artistry, the family is hosting the ‘Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival’ from December 13–15, 2024. Ten iconic films will be screened across 40 cities and 135 theatres, reliving the magic of the blue-eyed actor whose influence transcended India, resonating especially in Russia (then USSR). A perfect opportunity to revisit the charm of this cinematic legend!
