New Delhi: The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is set to release the Class 10 board exam result 2026 soon.
The result link will be activated at any time on the official websites, including results.cbse.nic.in. and cbse.gov.in. After release, students will be able to view their result using their roll number.
Students who appeared for the examinations can check and download their marksheets through official websites, mobile applications, and alternative methods such as SMS and IVRS services.
Even though no confirmation about the day and time is provided by the board, results are expected to be out by mid-May, considering the trend that was followed in recent years.
The results in 2025 and 2024 were both announced on May 13.
Checking results on official websites
Upon declaration, candidates will be able to check their results on the official CBSE results website, which includes results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
In order to obtain their results, students will need to enter data like roll number, school number, admit card number, date of birth, and security code.
On the result page, marks obtained in each subject as well as performance statistics will be shown.
Candidates are recommended to save a copy of the result.
Access via DigiLocker and UMANG mobile app
CBSE has introduced digital access to mark sheets through DigiLocker.
Students can visit cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
For candidates with an APAAR ID linked with their account, their documents will be readily accessible under the “Issued Documents” tab.
Students not having an APAAR ID can register themselves by using access codes provided by their schools, along with verifying their phone number. Once registered, mark sheets and certificates can be downloaded online.
The result can also be checked through the UMANG app.
One needs to sign in using their phone number, search for CBSE-related services, select their class, and enter the needed details.
Access Via SMS
Students will be able to view their marks by sending SMS messages to the number 7738299899 in a prescribed format along with the roll number, date of birth, school number, and centre number.
Upon the declaration of results, students discontented with their marks can request a verification or re-evaluation of their results.
Those who fail to clear the pass mark in one or two subjects are qualified to appear for the supplementary exams scheduled around July.
