New Delhi: The government of Russia may sell its newly developed and very dangerous weapon ‘S-500 anti-aircraft missile systems to India and China in the future to increase its defense trade. Many countries in the world including Russia and the US – are ready to take advantage of the India-China dispute by selling their weapons to these nations.
The latest statement of the director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation – Dmitry Shugaev said that Russia may deliver its cutting-edge S-500 anti-aircraft missile systems to India and China in the future.
According to a media report “The S-500 is designed for intercepting and destroying intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as hypersonic cruise missiles and aircraft. It is a next-generation surface-to-air missile system with a range of around 600 kilometers.”
Further, he added that Russia is looking at India, China, and all the other countries with which it has a long-standing partnership and predictable mutual relations as potential owners of this cutting-edge system.
The government of Moscow is already selling its special weapons like the S-400 missile system to India, China, and Turkey without thinking about sanctions from the US and the world.
Meanwhile, on Monday, November 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the military will receive the first batch of S-500 missiles in the near future. Putin also mentioned the recent deployment of NATO’s US-led missile defense components in Eastern Europe and the military alliances’ increased deployments near Russian waterways.
