Official Trailer of A Thursday Released
New Delhi: The first trailer of the upcoming Bollywood film, A Thursday, released on Thursday, February 10, 2022. The film teaser released on Wednesday, February 09, 2022.
The trailer showcases Yami Gautam as Naina Jaiswal, a teacher, who calls the Police department to confess to keeping 16 Little Dawn Playschool kids hostage. She demanded to kill the kids if her demands went unmet.
Disney plus Hotstar released the trailer with a caption that read, “This Thursday won’t be an ordinary day. One ordinary woman will change the fate of the entire nation.”
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, the lead actress wrote, “What can one playschool teacher do in one day? Well, I am about to shake the entire nation.”
Meanwhile, the 30-second teaser showcased actor Yami Gautam in a serious avatar. Set in a kindergarten, a grim-faced Yami, clad in a kurta and jeans, is seen singing a nursery rhyme, twinkle twinkle little star, in a monotonous voice.
The viewers can hear the joyful and rhythmic chorus of children that repeat the rhyme. The teaser ended with a sudden gunshot.
The OTT platform Disney plus Hotstar released the teaser on its social media handle along with a caption that read, “Yup, safe to say that Yami Gautam isn’t here to kid around.”
Directed and written by Behzad Khambata and produced by Premnath Rajagopalan in association with RSVP movies and Blue Monkey Films, A Thursday is a suspense thriller drama film that will release on Disney plus Hotstar on February 17, 2022.
The film involves actors Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni, Dimple Kapadia, Karanvir Sharma, and Maya Sarao in pivotal roles.
