No Superpower can Intimidate India: Pakistan PM Imran Khan
New Delhi: With a black ribbon on the eye and no surety for a secure future, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan consistently praised India and its work. Pakistan PM recently said, “People of India are self-respecting(Khuddar), and no superpower in the world – can intimidate India. No superpower can dictate terms to them,”
Further, Imran Khan said, “India and Pakistan became independent at the same time. I have a lot of friends in India. Only because of Kashmir, we don’t have good relations. But India is a self-reliant and self-respecting nation. No country can even think of threatening India.”
His address to the nation came after Pakistan’s Supreme Court a day earlier ruled he acted unconstitutionally in blocking any attempt to oust him – a decision that could end his premiership in days.
“I am upset with the Supreme Court’s decision. I was upset because when the Dy Speaker conducted the probe, the SC should have investigated it,” Khan said.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz lashed out at Imran Khan saying that “there were 27 no-confidence motions against the various prime ministers of India, but no one played with the constitution, democracy, and ethics. Atal Bihari Vajpayee lost by one vote and went home. He did not take the country, constitution, and nation hostage like you did!”
