In the past few days, over a hundred Afghan Sikhs and Hindus including some prominent politicians from the community have been brought to India under the mission codenamed ‘Operation Devi Shakti.’
The bad news for Afghan Sikhs is Canadian general on Thursday said that Canada has ended evacuations from Kabul’s airport.
General Wayne Eyre, the country’s acting chief of Defence Staff, said all the other countries have to leave the airport before the Americans can wrap up their mission. Canadian military flights evacuated about 3,700 people.
The experts of International politics also believe that the government of India may end its evacuation program before August 31, and it will be so tough for India if it continues.
