New Delhi: India and China will hold another meeting at the border to reduce tension in eastern Ladakh on Sunday. The corps commander-level talks will be held at Moldo on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The meeting comes at the peak of winter when sub-zero temperatures have forced both sides to reduce deployment.

Upto 10,000 troops have been withdrawn from the rear areas by China since the onset of winters.

After finishing the 8th round – India said that “India and China agreed to maintain dialogue and communication through military and diplomatic channels, and taking forward the discussions at this meeting, push for the settlement of other outstanding issues, so as to jointly maintain peace and tranquillity in the border areas. India and China also agreed to have another round of meeting soon,”

Some International political experts in India have expressed their views on the China and India’s border dispute and said that “China can break the trust of India again so India should not trust China.”

India and China are trying to solve the border problem through talks, meetings and communication but this time China may withdraw its troops from the border near India.

India and China will have to take tough decisions to diminish the problem at the borders.

Relations between India and China disturbed at top level after Chinese soldiers had attacked on the Indian soldiers a few months back.

On January 12, army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said that “The Indian Army was prepared to hold its ground in eastern Ladakh “for as long as it takes” to achieve national objectives in case the ongoing military and diplomatic talks with China are prolonged.”

The government of India is very aggressive against China and its illegal activities at the border. Peace loving country India steadily purchasing weapons and increasing its strength and reason is unfaithful neighbour China.

The Defence Minister of India on Friday also said that “India will not reduce the number of troops unless China initiates the process. India is developing infrastructure in border areas at a very fast rate.”
