Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu to release in theatres

Mumbai: One of the most-anticipated Bollywood films, Ram Setu, will release in theatres despite previous reports that claimed that the film will directly release on an OTT platform.

The rumours of producers taking an OTT route for the film after Akshay Kumar’s last two films, Samrat Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey failed at the Box Office, were doing the rounds.

However, Producer Vikram Malhotra dismissed all reports on Saturday, June 18, 2022, and said that Ram Setu will have a theatrical release. He confirmed that the film will hit theatres on October 24, 2022.

Directed by Abhishek Agarwal, the film features Kumar, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.  The film will release on Amazon Prime Video after its official release in theatres.
