Song Jab Saiyaan of Gangubai Kathiawadi releases today
Mumbai : The filmmakers of Gangubai Kathiawadi released a new song, Jab Saiyaan, for the viewers on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and rendered by Shreya Ghoshal, the song is penned by A. M Turraz.
The song captures the spirit of the Kamathipura world and showcases the unfolding of Gangubai Kathiawadi’s love affair between montages. The stunning actress portrays a sizzling, mischievous, and mysterious chemistry with the youthful Shantanu Maheshwari as Gangubai.
Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt and singer Shreya Ghoshal conducted a live session on Instagram to talk about the song as well as the inspiration behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s wonderful masterpiece.
“Sanjay Leela Bhansali was nervous about shooting the song since it involves montage sequences,” Alia Bhatt said during the live session.
Fans will be treated to a gentle ballad in Jab Saiyaan, which is suitable for the month of love. Sanjay Leela Bhansali also introduces Shantanu Maheshwari in this melodious ballad,to portray one of the key characters in the film.
Alia Bhatt shared the clip from the song with a caption that read, “Unfolding the cards of love! Bringing to you a piece of Gangu’s heart, introducing Shantanu.”
The previous song, Dholida managed to amaze the crowds due to an energetic, upbeat melody combined with a fantastic garba performance by Alia.
Shreya Ghoshal shared, “This is one of my favourite songs from the movie. Sir’s composition, Jab Saiyaan, is one of his most diverse works. Every time I work with him, it is a new experience for I owe him 20 years of my musical career since he believed in me and gave me my debut.”
“He’s a true magician who understands all there is to know about cinema and music. I’m ecstatic to be a part of his Gangubai Kathiawadi adventure as well. Jab Saiyaan is a song that will undoubtedly make everyone fall in love all over again!” Ghoshal shared.
Alia Bhatt will be witnessed in a never-before-seen avatar. She will be accompanied by legendary actors Ajay Devgn, Seema Pahwa, and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released on February 25, 2022.
