Rohit Shetty reveals on expanding his Cop Universe
Mumbai: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty revealed an update on Singham 3 and on expanding the Cop Universe. The universe is one of the most loved and entertaining franchise in the Bollywood industry today.
Talking about expanding the cop universe, Shetty said, “We have already started working on Singham 3. It has been a long time since I made an out and out Singham film. We start the shoot next year in April. Ajay Sir is busy with his commitments and I am also busy with Cirkus. So, by April, we will start Singham 3. It is going to be the biggest cop universe ever that we have made till date.”
“Young actors should leave the insecurity behind and take up two hero films otherwise it will be difficult for filmmakers to make big scale projects,” he added.
Talking about a female cop film, Shetty shared, “Yes, the female cop film is meant to happen and it will happen.”
On the other hand, Bollywood actor Vidya Balan had previously shared that she would love to do a female version of Shetty’s cop film.
Meanwhile, upcoming film Cirkus includes actors Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma.
