Laal Singh Chaddha’s trailer to be unveiled on IPL 2022 Finale
Mumbai: Upcoming Bollywood film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will unveil the first official trailer on the day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 finale which will take place on May 29, 2022.
The comedy-drama is one of the most-awaited Bollywood films, featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. According to a source, the makers consciously decided to launch the trailer of their film on the finale of the cricket event.
The source told media, “When it’s Aamir Khan, it has to be grand and never heard before. The trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha will be launched on 29th May, the day of the IPL finale. Cashing in on the IPL fervour, the makers of the Aamir Khan starrer consciously decided to launch the trailer of their film, much to the surprise of the fans of cinema and cricket.”
“The trailer will stream live on television on Star Sports during the second strategic timeout of the finale match to be held on May 29, creating a revolution and new benchmark in the ad and marketing world. This is the first time ever that a film is going to have a grand trailer launch on the world television platform and sports world,” the source added.
Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in pivotal roles. The film is inspired from 1994 American film Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha will release in theatres on August 11, 2022.
