Kannada TV actor Chethana Raj passes away at 21
Mumbai: Kannada TV actor Chethana Raj passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on May 17, 2022. She died in a private hospital due to complications from a fat-free cosmetic surgery. She was 21.
However, Raj’s family alleged that she died due to negligence by Dr Shetty’s Cosmetic Centre, where she underwent the procedure.
Chethana Raj underwent a fat-free plastic surgery on May 16 and experienced breathing problems soon after. Therefore, she was immediately shifted to the Kaade Hospital in Manjunath Nagar, Bengaluru, where doctors declared that she was brought dead.
The doctors suggested that Raj suffered from cardiac arrest as she was found unresponsive with no pulse upon her arrival. They used the CPR method for forty-five minutes to revive her before declaring her brought dead.
Meanwhile, Chethana’s parents reportedly filed a police complaint against the hospital committee on grounds of negligence.
