Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday said, “one terrorist, killed by the security forces in an encounter in Pulwama district,” The Security forces and local police had received information about the presence of terrorists in the Charsoo region from the sources and based on intel, forces had conducted the operation.
The police officer further said that the search operation devolved into a shootout as the terrorists who were hiding opened fire on the forces, forces fired back and one get killed. The identity and group connection of the murdered ultra are being investigated.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police and Security forces are conducting search operations on regular basis and eliminating all the elements that stand against India and the Indian people.
