Srinagar: At least one terrorist in the Shopian district was killed during an encounter with the security forces. According to police, security forces launched a cordon and search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of terrorists at Chermarg in the Zainapora area of Shopian.
A Few days back, four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit TRF, involved in providing logistic and other support to active terrorists in Kashmir Valley, were arrested from Srinagar.
Police said on the basis of reliable intelligence input, it was found that terrorist organization, The Resistance Front (TRF) is active in J&K and is being orchestrated by handlers based in Pakistan.
A case was registered by the police an investigation was initiated, and during its course, four hardcore terrorist associates were arrested.
