New Delhi: The Indian Security Forces are going lay down around seven lakh ‘Made in India’ Anti-Personnel & Anti-Tank Mines’ to stop enemies’ entry into borders. The Official of the Indian Army said “The Indian Army is going to lay 7 lakh indigenously developed ‘Nipun’ anti-personnel mines which carry a potent mix of RDX.”

Nipun mines were developed by an Indian firm in partnership with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The Army Official told media that “Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers getting a new set of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines for acting as the first line of defence against enemy infantry and armored columns or terrorist trying to infiltrate into own territory,”

“The Indian Army is set to receive indigenously designed and developed anti-personnel and anti-tank mines,” Officials said. The Corps of Engineers is showcasing the indigenous equipment in Pune, which was inducted into the army for carrying out anti-terror operations against the enemy as well as defending its own areas.

According to the information, along with these mines – the security forces may have more advanced and developed mines like ‘Nipun’ in the future. Prachand, Ulka, and Parth mines are also some of the new mines which will be inducted into the army after trials are conducted successfully.

These mines possess greater stopping power against enemy tanks due to their advanced design and sensors.

However, China’s disputes with India are constantly rising these days, and the government of India is not ready to trust the dragon again.
