Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan says, “Indian pilot held by Pakistan army will be released tomorrow.”
As Pakistan had demanded for a dialogue with India regarding the tensions rising amidst two nations, India had sent a strong message claiming that there shall be no negotiation happening while India IAF Pilot was in Pakistan custody. India had also warned Pakistan that under the Geneva Convention treaty there should be no harm done to the wing commander Abhinanadan Vardhaman in Pakistan’s custody.
Hence today, speaking in the Pakistani National Assembly, Imran Khan said Islamabad will be releasing the Indian pilot tomorrow as a gesture of goodwill.
