Kevadia: The Government of Gujarat during the ongoing assembly session said As many as 53 out of 163 animals and birds brought from different states and foreign countries died inside the most famous Kevadia jungle safari at the Statue of Unity. Kevadia jungle safari is one of the most ambitious projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Gujarat government.

A 22 of the birds and animals were exotic. Squirrel monkey, ringtail, red iguana, capuchin monkey, marmoset, green iguana, gharial, black leopard, giraffe, zebra, Carolina duck, alpaca, llama, wallabywild beast, oryx, and more animals were brought in from other nations and states.
