Football: Former Manchester star Carlos Teves hospitalized after chest pain
New Delhi, April 24: Carlos Teves, former Manchester City and Manchester United star was on Wednesday hospitalized after he complained of chest pain, the media reported on Wednesday.
The Independiente FC confirmed it in a statement on their Instagram account: “Our coach, Carlos Teves, went to la Trinidad hospital in San Isidro with chest pain. Today he will continue with a series of scheduled tests as a part of the general check-up.”
According to local reports in Argentina, the 40-year-old Carlos’ health issues are linked to stress but he has not commented officially, yet.
Before retiring as a player in June 2022, Teves played for Boca Juniors, Corinthians, Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, and Shanghai Shenhua.
In Argentina’s national team, Teves earned 76 caps between 2004 and 2015.
