Film Pathan to release on January 25, 2023
Mumbai: The Yash Raj Films announced the release date of this high-octane spy thriller today, which is helmed by Siddharth Anand, in a specially made date announcement teaser. The film will see a theatrical release by January 25, 2023.
The Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) shared a teaser for his forthcoming film Pathan on Wednesday, March 02, 2022.
Sharing the teaser on his social media handle, Shah Rukh captioned , “I know it’s late… but remember the date -Pathan time starts now. See you in the cinemas on January 25, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate Pathan with Yash Raj Films, only at a big screen near you.”
The protagonists are seen introducing a character in the official teaser.
The teaser begins with John Abraham standing on what appears to be a helipad overlooking the mountains. He introduces the film with the dialogue – “In our culture, we maintain our names in respect to our religion or caste, but he had none of the alternatives”.
The image then switches to actor Deepika Padukone, who appears to be watching a battle scene with explosions and helicopters falling in the background. “He didn’t have anyone to maintain his name, the only thing he had was this one country—India,” she says.
“He saw India as his religion (Dharma), and safeguarding the nation as his mission,” SRK speaks against a gleaming backdrop (Karma).
“Those without a name are given the name of the nation. You’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out how and why this name was chosen. We’ll get together in Pathan as soon as possible.”
The teaser gives a peek of SRK’s much-discussed Pathaan makeover, whetting the appetite of his fans for a glimpse of his new appearance. Anand has directed the announcement video, which also announced that the action spectacle would be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages across the country.
