Entertainment: Amazon Prime ties up with OTT platforms
Mumbai: Amazon Prime Video has partnered with 8 over-the-top (OTT) platforms to introduce Prime Video Channels, beginning Friday.
These channels will play content from streaming services like Discovery+, DocuBay, Eros Now, Hoichoi, Lionsgate Play, Manorama Max, MUBI, and Shorts TV.
The annual add-on subscription plans start from Rs. 299 for Discovery+, Eros Now, and Shorts TV; Rs. 499 for DocuBay; Rs. 699 for Lionsgate Play and Manorama Max and Rs.1999 for MUBI.
Discovery+ and Eros Now will offer a 25 percent launch discount, Hoichoi subscription 33 percent, Manorama Max 30 percent, and Shorts TV 40 percent with MUBI providing an introductory discount to the Prime subscribers.
Prime members can stream Bengali and Malayalam content through Hoichoi and Manorama Max, award-winning documentaries and short films by Docubay and Shorts TV, wildlife, lifestyle, adventure, and science with Discovery+ and blockbuster films by Lionsgate, MUBI, and Eros Now.
