Earthquakes: Two Tremblors jolt Pakistan on Friday
New Delhi: Two earthquakes of magnitude 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted the neighbouring country of Pakistan on Friday, May 06, 2022. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared seismographs highlighting the affected areas on Twitter.
“Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred on May 06, 2022, 11:51 am IST, latitude 27.02 and longitude 66.66 with a depth of 10km located in Pakistan,” the NCS tweeted.
A similar earthquake had earlier jolted Pakistan around 06:00 am on Friday. Informing about the earthquake, the NCS said, “Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred on May 06, 2022, 11:51 am IST, latitude 28.27 and longitude 64.49 with a depth of 10km located in Pakistan.”
No reports of damages to life or property surfaced so far.
