Defence Minister questions Congress’s intentions behind recent protests, accuses party of misguiding people

Lucknow: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today raised questions about the intention of the Congress party regarding the recent protests and said that the party is misguiding people by giving wrong information and wants to take revenge for their defeat in elections by resorting to violence and anarchy.
Addressing the media in Lucknow, Mr Singh attacked the Congress party sharply, and its leader, Rahul Gandhi, by saying that they should not use the title of Gandhi as the Father of the Nation, suspended his movement after the Chauri Chaura violence and the Congress party and their associate organisations are openly saying that they want to topple the government and want regime change, for which they are taking inspiration from Bangladesh.
It clearly shows that their fight is not for issues like SIR and resignation of CEC. He said that the remarks of the Supreme Court regarding their actions is an indication towards this. He further added that Rahul Gandhi should not do the politics of disruption because the country’s future is everybody’s responsibility. He also mentioned the roles of former CECs MS Gill and Navin Chawla and said that their actions were in question when they were heading the Election Commission.
Rajnath Singh said that there were some unforgivable crimes done during the Congress regime in this country. The first was the Emergency, the second was 84 riotes, the third was supporting the government which ordered to open fire on Ram bhakts. He also mentioned the growth of the country in recent times and said that the nation is progressing well in the field of Defence Production and now India is  Exporters of Defence equipments.
