Dasvi’s first song Ghani Trip releases today
Mumbai: A new song titled Ghani Trip from the upcoming Bollywood film Dasvi released on Tuesday, April 05, 2022. The film will release digitally on Netflix and Jio Cinemas on Wednesday, April 07, 2022.
Bollywood actor Yami Gautam shared the new song on her Twitter account with a caption, “Chaudhary Ji wants to provide you all with a special tip, leave everything aside and listen to Ghani Trip. Ghani trip song out now.”
The song begins with a poster, ‘Presenting Chaudhary’s swag,’ displayed on the screen.
Abhishek Bachchan wears traditional Haryanvi attire and a pair of sunglasses, Yami wears a Police uniform, and Nimrat Kaur dons a saree in the song.
The song video features a compilation of scenes that showcase Bachchan’s character Ganga Ram Chaudhary as a politician with Yami Gautam’s voiceover in the background. Yami asks Bachchan about his qualifications, to which Bachchan replies, “till grade 8.” Another voice asks, “How do you run the government?” He reverts, “With my will.”
The trio performs the hook step of the song together while the audience sees several snippets from the film. Composed by Sachin-Jigar and sung by Mellow D, Kirti Sagathia, and Sachin-Jigar, Ashish Pandit penned the lyrics of the Ghani trip.
Directed by Tushar Jalota and written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair, and Sandeep Leyzell with Poet and former AAP member Kumar Vishwas as dialogue consultant, film Dasvi is a social comedy.
