Ahmedabad: Yi Ahmedabad got the opportunity to host the National Summit once again after hosting PathBreakers 1.0 in 2017. PathBreakers 2.0 brought more than 350+ delegates from more than 57 Chapters from across the nation.

Yi (Young Indians) celebrated the spirit of Nation Building through the flagship national summit of young entrepreneurs across India. To reflect on this growing youth energy and drive, Yi Ahmedabad hosted such a National Summit called PathBreakers 2.0 – The Next Big Challenge.

The event was for 3 days it began on 30 September at Hyatt regency Ahmedabad with welcoming remarks by Tejas Shah, Chair, Yi Ahmedabad & Partner, Het Graphics. He began with narrating Gujarat legacy of national and world importance and addressing delegates he said “we are not only blessed by Laxmi but also blessed by Sarasvati.” Followed by Ganesh Vandana which featured Mr Dhaval Khatri. Yi invited PM Narendra Modi to come along in celebration of nation building.

Yi Pathbreakers 2.O received blessings message of our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for congratulating and a grand success of the event. The event was carried forward by Pravit Parikh, Chair, Yi Western Region & Director, Pima Controls Pvt. Ltd. He welcomed delegates from 39 cities by his remarking words “we are the ones we have been waiting for, we are the change.” For Yi continuously demonstrating an interest in widening their horizons and expanding opportunities for themselves and fellow young leaders of the country, Darshan Shah Vice Chairman, CII Gujarat State Council & Managing Director, Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited, said congratulating Yi.

Delegates were elated by the presence of Pujya Brahmavihari Swamiji Sant, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha as one of the key speakers. He shared his many years of experience and indelible words of wisdom, he shared his time of life with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and that episode of his life. He talked about importance of being kind and compassionate and quoted “Don’t be so professional that you forget to be compassionate. Be a leader who is little kinder.” He added, Create a dream and accept it, you are Young, dream big.

A little talk was delivered by Snehal Desai, Corporate Advisor he quoted “Business should drive finance, finance should not drive business”.

Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals then took charge of mike and shared their journey towards building of Apollo hospitals and quotes its journey with

“It’s not what you directly do, it’s inspiration, influence motivation you give to other people.” introducing concept of telemedicine and introduction of 24*7 health care facilities. She said “Everything that happens in the world, happens for a purpose.” She then added to the statement spoken by Pujya Brahmavihari Swamiji “I dare you to dream, i also dare you to care enough to act.”

The event, discussion for the first day was ended by the presence of prominent Author and member of Governing Council India Foundation, Mr. Ram Madhav. He congratulated Yi for organising national summit and further put forth an idea to young minds and said “everyone must be familiar with name Dale Carnegie, author of ‘how to win friends’ he said “what if the book was titled ‘how to win enemies’. It is an idea to wonder about.” Mr. Madhav shared the facts and his thoughts on “India at 100”. He summarised his talk with words “what India reads today is not India years but imaginary years.” Followed by hi tea Delegates then enjoyed garba tutorial for the garba night organised for entertainment and being in Gujarat, during Navratri no one leaves without enjoying the Gujarati culture and festival.

Event was carried forward, with orations from eminent personalities like Sonal Patel, Indian Parathlete and Bronze Winner.

Event started with Dhruv Desai, Immediate Past Chair, Yi Ahmedabad welcoming guests and Dignitaries. Followed by Shraddha Soparkar, Managing Trustee, Madhuram Charitable Trust who spoke on the work done by Madhuram Charitable trust. Delegates were obliged to witness panel discussion with Bhavina Patel, Indian Parathlete and Gold Winner and Sonal Patel, Indian Parathlete and Bronze Winner. Ms. Bhavina Patel shared that Sachin Tendulkar has been her inspiration.

International Parathletes, Mrs. Sonal Patel & Mrs. Bhavina Patel who won many medals at national and international para games urged both the union and states government to enhance more facilities and also release para sports policy soon for the athletes to perform good in games.

Mr. Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Limited, In conversation with Pravit Parikh Chair, Yi Western Region & Director, Pima Controls Pvt. Ltd said with that “30% sales of Arvind Lifestyles done through online and mobile phones”. He had emphasised Arvind legacy on the branding themes are Entrepreneurship, Professionalism, Tenacity and Values. He also spoke about the challenges of fast fashion and keeping up with the constantly changing trends in this digital age.

To add a witty hour to event Piyush Mishra, Actor & Director graced the stage of Yi in conversation with Vinod Agrawal, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Gujarat State Council, Past Chair, Yi Ahmedabad and Chairman and Managing Director – Arunaya Pvt Limited

He shared with journey as actor, his struggles in life , he also shared about how he came up with the title of his book “Hamlet Kabhi Bombay Nahi Gaya urf Tumhari Aukaat Kya Hai Piyush Mishra”. Listeners enjoyed the parts of his shayari and poems narrated by he himself.

The event evening was lighted up when Harsh Sanghavi,   Home Minister of Gujarat and Smriti Irani, Cabinet Minister and Minister of Women and Child Development of India walked the red carpet of Yi.

Home minister Harsh Sanghvi also a member of Yi illuminated delegates by having a two way conversation and discussed the growth of Gujarat in whole and said “Cultural values are the image of Gujarat” and answered the questions from audience.

Smriti Irani,   Cabinet Minister and

Minister of Women and Child Development conducted fantastic candid conversation and took the charge to answer all the questions from audience. She shared her journey from being just an ordinary girl with dreams and courage to make her dreams come true to being Smriti irani, referring to one of the question from delegates she said “Mobility is a challenge not only restricted to women but also men.” Addressing to young entrepreneurs she said “When you are in a race and losing, you cannot give excuses. You have to make up and win.” Adding her own election episode as an example.

Further delegates got be part of panel discussion on startup with Prabtej Singh Bhatia, Co Founder, Falcon ; Prafull Billore, Founder, MBA Chaiwala Academy and Harshwardhan Lunia, Co Founder & CEO, Lendingkart moderated by Arjit Johri Vice President, Mars Shot Ventures.

The stage of Pathbreakers 2.0 Yi National summit was filled with gratitude to have Sudhir Chaudhary, Consulting Editor, Aaj Tak as the last key note speaker of the event. He shared the insights about Media.
