China Helps Saudi to Build Ballistic Missile: US Intelligence, May Not Be Good for Gulf Nations
New Delhi: The Gulf Country Saudi Arabi is now actively working with the Beijing government to develop its ballistic missile, The United States Media Thursday reported. Saudi Arabia has already purchased ballistic missiles from China but never got the success to build its own.
The satellite images that come in the market is Showing that Kingdom is currently manufacturing the weapons in at least one location.
According to a media report, the Biden Administration is now confronted with increasingly urgent questions about whether Saudi’s ballistic missile advancements could dramatically change regional power dynamics and complicate efforts to expand the terms of a nuclear deal with Iran to include restraints on its missile technology a goal shared by the US, Europe, Israel, and Gulf countries.
However, Iran and Saudi Arabia are bitter enemies and it is unlikely Tehran will agree to stop making ballistic missiles if Saudi Arabia has begun manufacturing its own.
On Saudi’s Ballistic missile development – China said that “the two countries are comprehensive strategic partners, and have maintained friendly cooperation in all fields, including in the field of military trade.”
The Asian International political experts have also shared their views and said that “The Beijing government’s help to Saudi in development of Ballistic missile could add more tension and disputes in the region – which may add burden in the US pockets.”
