Beast official trailer releases on April 02
Mumbai: The makers released the official trailer of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming Tamil film, Beast, on Saturday, April 02, 2022. The film will release in theatres on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Beast will be Vijay’s 65th film.
The trailer shows Vijay as a notorious spy, Veera Raghavan, who fights terrorists and saves people stuck at Chennai’s East Coast Mall from hijackers. The trailer describes him as mean, lean, and powerful as he wields the gun and kills with a sword. The trailer also shows a glimpse of actor Pooja Hegde who seems visibly afraid of Vijay’s character.
The film marks Hegde’s return to Tamil cinema after nine years. She is paired alongside Vijay for the first time. Hegde began her career in the film industry with director Mysskin’s crime-drama, Mugamoodi, in 2012
Written and directed by Nelson Dilpkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with music composer Anirudh Ravichander, the action-thriller also stars Selva Raghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Chacko, Redin Kingsley, Aparna Das, and VTV Ganesh in pivotal roles.
