Gandhinagar: Air flight services between Ahmedabad and Bhuj – are likely to commence from June 1 under the viability grant funding (VGF) scheme of the state government, said the Government of Gujarat on Thursday.
The government in the assembly said that “As of January 31, 2022, air connectivity has been set up on six routes under the VGF scheme. Under the VGF scheme, air connectivity has been set up on six routes including Rajkot-Porbandar, Ahmedabad-Kandla, Surat-Ahmedabad, Surat-Rajkot, Surat-Amreli, and Surat-Bhavnagar.”
On the other hand, two routes have been set up under the central government’s UDAN scheme, which is Ahmedabad-Porbandar and Ahmedabad-Kandla.
