APSEZ Mundra bags 2 awards in OSH India Awards
Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ) Mundra achieved two national level prestigious awards in OSH India Awards 2022 recently in Mumbai. This award honours the company’s dedication to top-notch safety and compliance with the most stringent industry standards, as well as its efforts to save lives and protect the environment by raising awareness and enlisting the help of the local community to improve people’s lives. The awards were received by Shivaraman Lvc (Head OHS & Fire) and Manan Bhatt on the behalf of fire services & environment department. The two awards received were under the category of Safety & Excellence Award (for saving lives of the truck drivers, congratulations to Dr Rakesh Chaturvedi (HOS /APSEZ Fire services)) and Environment Management (for various environmental initiatives by Bhagwat Swaroop Sharma (Head Environment services)) and team.
For the sake of community life safety and improved environmental conditions, APSEZ, Mundra is dedicated to safety excellence. It is stated that seeing is believing; in crucial road accident and rescue operations, APSEZ has saved the lives of six drivers (2021–2022). Ratnadip Trivedi (Associate Manager, APSEZ Fire Services) has been instrumental in expanding the capability of the fire services and has overseen two life-saving road accidents. He not only saved the lives of two drivers, but also their dependent households.
