Akshay Kumar releases song Dhaagon Se Baandhaa from Raksha Bandhan
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar released the song, Dhaagon se Baandhaa from his upcoming film, Raksha Bandhan on Thursday, July 28, 2022. The film will release in theatres on August 11, 2022.
The Khiladi Kumar took to social media and shared a poster of the song along with a caption that read, “These brothers-sisters have more love for each other than all the fights. Dhaagon se Bandhaa song from Raksha Bandhan is out, tune in now.”
Titled Dhaagon Se Baandhaa, the song showcases Kumar’s emotions as his sister gets married. The song also provides a glimpse into Akshay’s life surrounding his sisters since their childhood.
With throwbacks from their childhood days, the song begins with one of Akshay’s sister’s wedding, an emotional moment for the family. It shows Akshay doing his best to keep his sisters happy. The song even shows the celebration of Raksha Bandhan.
The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and music by Himesh Reshammiya. Directed by Aanand L Rao, Raksha Bandhan stars Bhumi Pednekar opposite Akshay. Meanwhile, actors Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and Smrithi Srikanth will be seen as Akshay’s sisters in the film that also has Seema Pahwa as a matchmaker.
