AAP claims party office in Gujarat raided, Gujarat Police denies conducting such raids
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat police on Monday (September 12) denied the claim of the Aam Admi Party that said Gujarat Police raided on Aam Aadmi Party’s Ahmedabad office as soon as Kejriwal reached Ahmedabad.
A police official refuted the claim and said when contacted, the AAP office-bearers did not give any details about who conducted the raid and what exactly happened.
The Gujarat Police tweeted, “Aam Aadmi Party’s office was raided by Ahmedabad city police yesterday, this news has viral on social media, but No such raid has come to be done by Ahmedabad city police”
Navrangpura police station inspector P K Patel denied the claims saying no such raid was conducted.
“After learning about Gadhvi’s tweet about the raid, I personally visited the party office on Sunday night and sought details. But the party leaders present there, including one Yagnesh, did not give any details as to who came and what exactly happened as claimed by Gadhvi,” Patel told the media.

However, earlier, AAP leader from Gujarat, Isudan Gadhvi on tweeter said that Gujarat Police raided the party’s Ahmedabad office for two hours after the party chief, Arvind Kejriwal, set foot in the state, he tweeted, “Gujarat Police raid on Aam Aadmi Party’s Ahmedabad office as soon as Kejriwal reached Ahmedabad. Searched for two hours. Nothing found. Said they would come again,”

The AAP has been running an aggressive campaign in poll-bound Gujarat. The Gujarat-based political experts believe that announcement of free electricity, and other products to get the votes of the people could be extremely dangerous in the future in Gujarat.
