New Delhi: Angry at the ongoing attacks on the Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh, the Indian-Americans took out a rally to the White House on Monday, urging Washington to stop all businesses with Dhaka, the media reported.

The organizers–StopHinduGenocide.org, Bangladeshi Diaspora organizations, and Hindu Action– demanded that American companies stop buying garments from Bangladesh, which is heavily dependent on its exports to the US.
Prasenjit Dutta, head of a Bangladeshi community organization from Atlantic City, demanded the release of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Das, who was recently imprisoned on charges of treason.

“I don’t know why the Biden administration is not doing anything. We are asking
the White House to act,” he said.

The participants also questioned the roles of global organizations, including the World Bank and the United Nations, urging them to hold Bangladesh accountable for the atrocities against the Hindus and other minorities.
They should ask Bangladesh to comply with their policies.
