New Delhi: The Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir have reported the second incident of targeted killing in Kulgam district in the last three days. After the murder of a Schoolteacher Rajini Bhalla on May 31 in Kulgam, now terrorists had targeted Bank Manager from Rajasthan state.
A police official said that Vijay Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan, was on his way to the Arrey Mohanpora branch when he was fired upon by terrorists this morning.
According to a media report, Bank Manager was working for the Ellaquai Dehati Bank in Kulgam and was shot dead by terrorists in the Kulgam district.
On the second targeted killing of non-locals of Jammu and Kashmir in the state, the security forces said, “Terrorists fired upon a bank employee (manager) at Ellaqie Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora in Kulgam district. He received grievous gunshot injuries in this terror incident. He is a resident of Hanumangarh Rajasthan. The security forces have cordoned off the area, and further details shall follow,”
A Kashmiri TV actress Amreen Bhat was also killed by unidentified terrorists in Budgam’s Chadoora area in Jammu and Kashmir on May 25, while her 10-year-old nephew was injured. On May 12, Rahul Bhat, a Kashmir Pandit, was shot dead inside his office by terrorists in the Budgam.
