Drishyam 2 begins Production
Mumbai: The upcoming Bollywood film, Drishyam 2, began production on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The film will be extensively shot in Goa during the forthcoming months.
The film aspires to do justice to the crime-thriller genre. It will feature Ajay Devgn in the lead.
Co-starring Tabu, actors Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta will also feature in the second instalment that is directed by Abhishek Pathak.
Ajay Devgn expressed his excitement on returning with Drishyam 2 on Twitter with a tweet that read, “Can Vijay protect his family again? Drishyam 2 shoot begins.”
Talking about the film, Director Pathak said, “Making an official remake of a successful franchise film is an honour and a challenge. An opportunity to work along with Ajay Devgn, who is such a powerhouse of talent is a morale-booster for any creative person; his unique influence is undoubtedly the most enriching experience for me.”
“It’s exciting to retell a story from your perspective and vision by divergent visuals in the most justified yet extraordinary way. The setting and the mood of the film uplifts the very essence of the crux, making it gripping from the very beginning,” he added.

Drishyam 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.
