New Delhi: Mumbai City Football Club (FC) and ATK Mohun Bagan ended in a 1-1 draw in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Nehru Stadium, Goa, on Thursday, February 03, 2022.
The match began with FC’s Ahmed Jahouh losing the ball in the box. ATK’s David Williams snatched the ball and lashed at the net in the 9th minute. ATK was in the lead when captain Pritam Kotal tried to head the ball away in the 24th minute but netted in his own post instead. Kotal’s goal was a boon for Mumbai, and the scores were levelled 1-1.
The second half had Williams attempting a square shot that went off-target in the 48th minute. Both teams were guarded and defensive as they saved and blocked attempts despite substitutions. However, four additional minutes were provided when both teams failed to lead. The match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.
