“Ground frost conditions in the morning hours in isolated pockets very likely over Saurashtra and Kutch, Punjab and Haryana during next 4 days,” it added.

IMD also warned of a possible low-pressure area formation in the Equatorial Indian Ocean in a series of tweets that read, “Sea Warning: a cyclonic circulation lies over Equatorial Indian Ocean to the south of Sri Lanka, extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. Under its influence, a Low-Pressure Area is likely to form over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around December 17.”
