Weapons Suppliers are an Actual Winner in the Russia-Ukraine Conflict
New Delhi: The hope of the peace is not looking possible in the Russia-Ukraine conflict as many nations – including the US and the UK have consistently provided weapons to Kyiv Government. Arms support to the Kyiv is like fire and fuel in the same bag.
The US has supplied Kyiv military aid worth more than $2.4 billion since Russian forces invaded Ukraine on February 24. The supplies include Stinger anti-aircraft systems, Javelin anti-armour systems, Switchblade drones, air surveillance radars, Mi17 helicopters, 155mm howitzers, etc.
According to the international political experts’ views, No matter who wins the Russia-Ukraine war but arms supplier countries are already a winner in this case. The Smart countries have used the land of Ukraine to damage the China-friendly country Russia’s economy or Isolate Moscow.
A media report on the arms supply to Ukraine said that “The US has said it will send an additional $800 million in weapons, ammunition and other security assistance to Ukraine.”
The US President on Friday said, “The steady supply of weapons the US and its allies and partners have provided to Ukraine has been critical in sustaining its fight against the Russian invasion,”
However, The US and the UK are not alone on the list providing weapons to Ukraine. Canada, the UK, Germany, Italy, and Turkey are also among 30-odd countries providing Ukraine with weapons and defense systems that their state-backed or private companies specialize in manufacturing.
Some Ukrainian neighbors, such as Poland and the Czech Republic, are also sending even their own military hardware to be used against Russia in the war that has left thousands killed, millions displaced, and multiple cities wrecked.
