Veteran actor Radikaa Sarathkumar honoured by UK Tamil Studies Forum
New Delhi: Veteran actor and producer Radikaa Sarathkumar was honoured by the UK Tamil Studies Forum for her work and achievements work in the field of cinema.
The UK MP Maria Miller hosted the event in the UK Parliament. Radikaa received the award and addressed the British Parliament. The event was organised to honour women achievers from various fields.
Talking about her achievements, Sarathkumar said, “It was a moment of great joy and pride to receive the award in the UK Parliament. Many thanks to the selectors for giving me this award and to the screen and television industry as well as the family, who have supported me for so many years.”
Radikaa is working on a new web series with award-winning director Vasanthabalan. Her production house, Radaan Mediaworks, will produce the series. She will feature in the upcoming Bollywood film, Merry Christmas, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif.
Radikaa Sarathkumar has worked in several Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films.
