Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passes away

Mumbai: Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. The actor reportedly passed away days after suffering from cardiac arrest. According to Veteran theatre actor, Anil Rastogi, Mithilesh Chaturvedi was admitted to a Lucknow hospital a few days after the heart attack.

His son-in-law, Ashish Chaturvedi confirmed the news by sharing a post on Facebook on Thursday, August 04, 2022. Ashish dropped a series of photographs of the late actor with a caption that translates to, “You were the best father in the world. You showered me with love, not as a son-in-law but as a son. May God rest your soul in peace.”

Meanwhile, Filmmaker Hansal Mehta also took to Instagram and shared a photograph of the late actor with a caption that read, “RIP Mithileshji.”

The demise took the industry by shock. Several actors took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor.

The late actor began his career in 1997 with film Bhai Bhai and went on to do films like Taal, Fiza, Aks, Kisna: The Warrior Poet, Bunty Aur Babli, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Asoka, Ready, Mohalla Assi, and Krrish.

He even featured in television series Kayamat and Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka and web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.

Mithilesh was also a part of YouTuber Bhuvan Bam’s Disney Hotstar series Taaza Khabar. Directed by Himank Gaur, Taaza Khabar is currently under production. The show also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Prathmesh Parab, Nitya Mathur, and Shilpa Shukla.
