Trump making millions from crypto and golf clubs
New Delhi: US President Donald Trump filed his financial disclosure report of the term on Friday, which reveals his assets, including income from Family and cryptocurrencies, as reported.
According to the report, Trump reported $57.35 million in income from token sales at World Liberty Financial, a crypto firm. He also disclosed ownership of 15.75 billion governance tokens linked to the venture.
This information was filed on 13 June, which did not include a specific time period but included the earnings from crypto in 2024.
The further stated wide range of income sources from the Trump Media and Technology company behind his social media platform, Truth Social.
Also, Trump has made a significant amount of money from licensing fees from a development in Vietnam ($10 million in development fees from a project in India) and nearly $16 million from licensing a project in Dubai.
The American President also made money from real estate and digital currency merchandise: $1.3 million from the Greenwood Bible (billed as “the only Bible officially endorsed by Lee Greenwood and President Trump”), $2.8 million from Trump Watches, and $2.5 million from Trump Sneakers and Fragrances.
Trump also reported $1.16 million in earnings from his NFT digital trading cards featuring his likeness. Former First Lady Melania Trump earned around $216,700 in licensing fees from her own NFT collection.
Trump National Doral, the resort near Miami, made an income of $110.4 million, and also properties from Florida made over at least $217.7 million, the filing showed.
