Tremblor: A 3.8 magnitude earthquake jolts Manipur
New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 3.8 on the Richter scale jolted the Northeastern state of Manipur on Thursday, August 04, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph on Twitter, highlighting the affected areas.
“Earthquake of Magnitude 3.8 occurred on August 04, 2022, 08:47 IST on latitude 25.16 and longitude 93.79 with a depth of 15 km located 40 km North-Northwest of Imphal, Manipur, India,” the NCS tweeted.
No reports of damages or casualties reported so far.
