Roving Periscope: Kejriwal’s arrest exposes those whose ‘asset’ he is!

New Delhi: It was known that the West’s liberal-left-democratic (LLD) cabal had, over the years, assiduously ‘promoted’ Arvind Kejriwal—who, in January 2014, famously pronounced himself as an “anarchist”—to prevent a rising India from cultivating a strong political leadership. Now his recent arrest in the liquor scam has exposed whose ‘asset’ he was!
Remember, his meteoritic rise during the UPA era (2004-14). Among other crowd-funding methods, his NGO received USD 400,000 from the Ford Foundation since 2008—recently he has even been accused of receiving Rs. 133 crores from the US-Canada-based Khalistan leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Soon after he quit his IRS job in 2006, he was “decorated” with the Ramon Magsaysay Award the same year….He has for long been accused of even being a CIA “asset.” Time and again, the western media eulogized him with sponsored articles and advertisements.
He used Anna Hazare only as a propeller and, despite his many “vows” against joining the political cesspool, he did. Then, like any tinpot dictator, he concentrated all powers on himself, and refused to build up his political outfit into a well-structured one—because that would have restricted his decision-making!
Then, he kicked out every important leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who could threaten his leadership—and now he is crying for democracy and to safeguard the Constitution of India!
Not only the UPA government but the NDA government was also aware of his “designs”. They gave him a long rope…
That is why his arrest has worried his alleged handlers in the West…And India is setting the clock right.
After putting Germany in its place last week, India took on the US as well.
New Delhi on Wednesday took strong objection to remarks by a US spokesperson on Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest stating, “In diplomacy, states are expected to be respectful of the sovereignty and internal affairs of others.”
“We take strong objection to the remarks of the spokesperson of the US State Department about certain legal proceedings in India. In diplomacy, states are expected to be respectful of the sovereignty and internal affairs of others. This responsibility is even more so in the case of fellow democracies. It could otherwise end up setting unhealthy precedents,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
“India’s legal processes are based on an independent judiciary which is committed to objective and timely outcomes. Casting aspersions on that is unwarranted,” it added.
A US State Department spokesperson, while answering a query on India summoning the German envoy over his comments on Kejriwal’s arrest, had said on Tuesday that Washington had been closely following the reports. “We encourage a fair, transparent, and timely legal process for Chief Minister Kejriwal,” he said.
Earlier, the MEA had also summoned Germany’s Deputy Envoy Georg Enzweiler “to convey India’s strong protest” over Berlin’s comments on this matter.
The MEA said that the German foreign ministry’s remarks on Kejriwal’s arrest were an interference in India’s judicial process and any “biased assumptions” were “most unwarranted.”
On Friday last week, Germany had raised concerns regarding Kejriwal’s arrest. “We assume and expect that the standards relating to the independence of the judiciary and basic democratic principles will also be applied in this case,” the German foreign ministry had said.
