New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Friday, June 24, 2022, that the Northeast and Western parts of India will continue to receive rainfall.

The IMD has been closely monitoring the advancement of the South-west monsoon winds since they hit the Indian mainland late May 2022.

The department took to Twitter and wrote, “Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on June 24 and 25 and over south Gujarat state on June 25, 2022.”

“Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during next 5 days,” the IMD tweeted.
