Public Relations Council of India – Ahmedabad Chapter organizes UDAAN to appreciate & honour the Entrepreneurial Spirit of City’s Successful Women
Ahmedabad: Women Entrepreneurship Day which is celebrated on 19th November every year aims to recognize the contribution of women businesswomen in global economy. As on date about 85% of purchases and close to $20 trillion in global spending is credited to women and this day advocates promoting a more conducive environment for business women. To honor some of these enthusiastic and visionary Women Entrepreneurs of the State who have continued to contribute to the community in their innovative ways, even post the dreaded pandemic, PRCI Ahmedabad Chapter organized a felicitation program with the presence of around 50 women leaders.
The Program which witnessed the presence of resilient and dynamic women entrepreneurs of the city was organized at H T Parekh Convention Centre – Ahmedabad Management Association. UDAAN has been designed to felicitate Women Entrepreneurs across 8 categories of Education, Banking, Business, Creative Entrepreneur, Food, Healthcare and Hospitality, Health and Fitness and Social Entrepreneurship.
Informing about the Program, Mr. Subhojit Sen – General Secretary, PRCI Ahmedabad Chapter, shared, “UDAAN is not just an award program. It’s a movement to recognize the amazing talents and hardships of Women Entrepreneurship and it’s based on the saga of Phoenix bird. We are happy to invite Young Blind Motivational speaker – Ms. Kalgi Rawal as a guest of honour and we would also be paying our homage to Late Smt. ELA Bhatt of SEWA, who has paved the path of Women Entrepreneurial Spirit across the globe. We have invited around 50 women entrepreneurs across 8 categories to listen to their hardships during the pandemic times and felicitate them as they have emerged victorious.”
Dr. Shashikant Bhagat, Joint Secretary, PRCI Ahmedabad Chapter, adds, “Women Entrepreneurship day reminds us to celebrate the spirit of those women leaders who have intensified their talents by looking into the impossible and making a way through it. They are the ultimate trendsetters. They let go of their inhibitions and focus on results. So we are happy to congratulate them. We are also thankful to some organizations and individuals like Motherhood Foundation, Mr. Bhargav Thakkar of Acumen Advisory, E S Health care Centre, Rayo Pharma Pvt Ltd, Punjab National Bank who has joined hands with us to make this event successful and looking at the amazing response we will continue to organize UDAAN Series in future as well.”

PRCI Ahmedabad Chapter is also happy to announce that at the recently held 16th Global Communication Conclave in Kolkatta, the PRCI JURY members felicitated 2 media agencies of Gujarat for delivering highest standards of excellence. Mr Vinod Dave, Managing Director of TRIM MEDIA Pvt ltd was honoured with the Best Innovative Start-up and Strategic Media Services was awarded as Innovative PR agency of the year.
