New Delhi: Haryana Steelers defeated Tamil Thalaivas 37-29 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru, on Tuesday, February 08, 2022. Tamil Thalaivas won the toss and chose the right side of the court, whereas Haryana Steelers went to raid first.
Tamil’s Manjeet Dahiya picked a bonus after Haryana’s Vikash Kandola’s empty raid. However, Haryana inflicted an All Out and was leading 10-2. Tamil’s Ajinkya Pawar conducted a do-or-die and earned two points.
Though Vikash conducted a do-or-die raid, the opponents snatched a point. Tamil had a strong comeback as Ajinkya conducted another successful do-or-die raid. The first half had Haryana leading with 15-12 points.
The second half began with an unsuccessful raid by Vikash. Haryana’s Ashish Narwal conducted a super raid and gained three points. On the other hand, Tamil’s Surjeet Singh and Ajinkya combined for a super tackle and ousted Vikash for two points.
Surjeet went to raid and picked a bonus, but Haryana initiated another All Out and gained four points. Meanwhile, Ashish conducted a super raid and earned a super 10. Ashish made a dubki during another super raid and deceived Tamil’s Sagar Rathee and Ajinkya. Haryana won the match 37-29.
