New Delhi: The Gujarat Giants ousted Bengal Warriors 34-25 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sheraton Grand, Bengaluru, on Tuesday, February 01, 2022. Gujarat won the toss and chose the left side of the court, whereas Bengal proceeded to raid first.

The first half began with Bengal’s Maninder Singh taking down Gujarat’s Girish Ernak and captain Sunil Kumar in the first raid. He received 2 points. Gujarat’s Ravinder Pahal conducted a do-or-die raid and equalized scores 2-2 as Gujarat’s Pardeep Kumar conducted a super raid and earned 3 points. Meanwhile, Bengal’s Ran Singh made a super tackle and earned three points.

Sunil and Ajay Kumar stopped Maninder in a super tackle and earned two massive points. The first half ended with Gujarat at a slender one-point lead at 12-13.

The second half began with Gujarat’s Rakesh Narwal conducting a super raid. He eliminated Ran Singh, Vishal Mane, and Amit Nirwal to gain points. They escaped an All Out and took the lead again.

Instead, Gujarat conducted an All Out and jumped to a massive 7-point lead. Though Bengal tried to cover the distance, Gujarat earned two more points and defeated Bengal with a whopping 9-point lead.
